Working principle of oil pump nozzle

Before the fuel injection pump starts supplying fuel, the needle valve of the fuel injector is closed and maintained in this state by a spring. After the fuel injection pump starts its pumping stroke, high-pressure diesel enters the fuel injection nozzle assembly through the inlet pipe joint, passes through the oil passage in the fuel injection nozzle body, and enters the oil chamber around the pressure bearing cone surface of the needle valve. When the diesel pressure reaches the set pressure, the upward pushing force of the oil pressure on the pressure bearing cone surface of the needle valve will open the needle valve. Diesel flows from the small oil chamber called the oil bag under the needle valve to the spray hole, and is sprayed out in fine oil mist from these spray holes. When the pump oil pressure decreases, the needle valve spring causes the needle valve to fall onto the valve seat, and the fuel injection process ends accordingly
